New Post Doc in the ICSID team
Milos Resimic will join the ICSID team in September 2020. He went through a serious selection process of choosing the most suitable candidate for postdoctoral position and received an invitation in the first wave of admission offers. In total there were 429 applicants.
Milos will take an active part in the ICSID events and also work on scientific publications. He will participate in the upcoming 9th ICSID Conference and present his paper “Varieties of renationalization in post-communist countries: Political-business networks, embeddedness and renationalization in Serbia and Hungary”.
In 2014 Milos got his Master’s degree with honors in Political science in Central European University (Hungary). The topic of his graduation thesis was “News coverage of domestic violence in Serbia”. In 2019 he successfully defended his PhD thesis “Network ties and the politics of renationalization: Embeddedness, political-business relations and renationalization in post-Milosevic Serbia” at Central European University". Milos receive a certificate for outstanding dissertation award.
Milos Resimic was teaching a course “Analyzing state capture in post-communist countries and beyond” at his home university. He worked as a consultant for Government Transparency Institute (GTI), Hungary, within the framework of the project “State capture and defense procurement in the EU”. Milos also advised Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Policy in Serbia on devising the National Action Plan for the implementation of the National Strategy for Prevention and Elimination of Violence against Women.
