Political economy of agricultural development

Andrei Yakovlev, Director of the Institute for Industrial and Market Studies, was invited to attend a workshop “Political economy of agricultural policies and land relations” as a keynote speaker. The workshop was held in IAMO (Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies) on March 5-6

In his paper “Coordination as a tool to decrease uncertainty for market agents: the case of Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture in 2000s” Andrei Yakovlev considered the main principles of “new industrial policy” and the way they were applied to the development of Russian agriculture.
