Visiting fellowships for PhD students at SCRIPTS
"The Berlin International College of Research and Graduate Training” (BIRT) at the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Script” (SCRIPTS) offer 1- 2 fellowships for the maximum duration of 12 months.
The call will be open from September 30th to November 30th, 2021.
The visiting fellowship addresses early career researchers. Interested applicants must already be enrolled in a PhD program from an academic institution and their enrolment must be valid for the full duration of the fellowship. The fellowship at SCRIPTS is directed primarily at applicants who are at an intermediate or advanced but not final stage of their respective doctoral programs. Visiting fellows will be affiliated with the Berlin International College of Research and Graduate Training (BIRT) and involved in the Cluster’s Graduate School, the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS), where most of the training takes place. The aim of the training fellowship is to provide theoretical and methodological training (methods courses and counseling) and feedback on their research projects within the SCRIPTS community. The program offers mentorship, a tailored course program, and ample opportunities for stimulating intellectual exchange with peers.
