XIX April HSE conference presentations

XIX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development organized by Higher School of Economics took place in Moscow on April 10-13, 2018.

During the Conference well-known researchers – political scientists, economists and sociologists, as well as senior officials and businessmen discussed a number of topical issues faced by the modern society: Banking and Payment Systems: Regulation, Risk Assessment, Financial Innovations, Demography and Labor Markets, Healthcare Studies, Local Government and Civic Self-Organization, Healthcare Studies and Education.

IIMS and ICSID team members were actively involved in the Conference being among the chair-persons, moderators of different sections, discussants and speakers.

IIMS Head Andrei Yakovlev   was a moderator of the Section O. «State and Local Government Challenges» and the Section F. «Law and Economics», the session Va-10. «Encouraging Business-state Cooperation in the Developing World: Evidence from Public-Private Partnerships in Russia and China» and the Roundtable B-06/1. «Incentives for Academic and Applied Research and Reproduction of the Professional Economic Community. Organized jointly with the Association of Russian Economic Think Tanks (ARETT)» .

IIMS Chief Research Fellow Tatiana Dolgopyatova was a co-moderator of Section L «Firms and Markets».
