Call for Papers: EACES Workshop at the XXI April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, 6-10 April 2020, Moscow
The EACES workshop “Public Procurement in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia” will be held within the framework of the XXI HSE International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development (Moscow, 6-10 April, 2020). The workshop is organized by the Institute for Industrial and Market Studies of National Research University – Higher School of Economics (HSE) in cooperation with EACES and Center for Social and Economics Strategies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.
The EACES workshop aims to promote empirical research on public procurement by the international academic community. The workshop also intends to develop academic networks among researchers interested in Russian and other emerging economies.
We welcome papers on a variety of related topics, including but not limited to:
- Incentives and Efficiency in Public Procurement;
- Performance and Renegotiation in Public Procurement;
- Public Procurement and Innovation;
- Corruption in Public Procurement;
- The Digitalization of Public Procurement;
- Policy and Implementation of e-Procurement;
- SMEs Participation in Procurement, Subcontracting;
- Sustainable Development and Green Public Procurement;
- Public Procurement in Health Care.
The working language of the workshop will be English.
The workshop program will include a keynote speech by Prof. Juraj Nemec (Masaryk University Brno, Czech Republic, Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia) and a number of panel sessions on specific topics. The duration of a panel session is 90 minutes. Researches will have 15 minutes for presentation to be followed up by discussants.
We invite you to send extended abstracts of papers for presentation at the workshop to organizers (firstname.lastname@example.org). We accept your paper proposal from October 21, 2019 until December 27, 2019.The abstract should be in RTF or Microsoft Word formats, be no longer than 1,500 words and include three to five key words. The acceptance decision will be done by January 31, 2020. For accepted papers, we would ask authors to send the full version of the paper (no longer than 10,000 words; Word, RTF or PDF file) to e-mail address email@example.com by March 7, 2020.
