Doctoral Researcher at the University of Bremen

At the University of Bremen, the Collaborative Research Centre 1342 "Global Dynamics of Social Policy" invites applications for the academic position of a Doctoral Researcher.

Applicants must qualify for doctoral studies in Germany and must know econometrics at a level suitable for PhD studies.

Requirements

• M.A. Degree in social sciences;

• Proven expertise in quantitative methods (regression analysis);

• Excellent command of academic English;

• Proven interest in social policies, political regime trajectories and/or the post-Soviet region;

• Good command of Russian and/or other languages of the post-Soviet region is a strong plus;

• Working knowledge of German preferred (or strong interest and willingness to learn German).

The position is a fixed term position until December 31, 2025.
