Welcome to ICSID
The ICSID welcomes a new Research Assistant Shweta Sikhwal.
Shweta is a third-year PhD student in the department of Applied Economics. The topic of her research is "Monetary Instability in the Emerging Market Economies". Her article "Effects of US interest rate shocks on the emerging market economies: evidence from panel structural VAR" was published in Russian Journal of Economics last year.
Her responsibilities at ICSID will include gathering data, data analysis, literature review, and preparing the text for scientific research and projects.
Shweta will present her paper "Can machine learning models provide a better forecast of money demand? Evidence from the Indian economy" at the IIMS seminar "Institutional Problems of the Russian Economy" on May 26th, check here for details.
