SIOE Conference 2017

Some of the ICSID researchers took part in the 21st Annual  Conference of the Society for Institutional and Organizational Economics that was held at Columbia University in New York on June 23-25, 2017.

This year conference attracted high quality papers from an international community of scholars in many disciplines including economics, political science, sociology, management, history, and law. In total 248 papers were presented in 67 parallel sessions.

ICSID Academic supervisor and Leading research fellow Timothy Frye chaired the session “Politics and Property: Commitment Problems in Russia” that included the papers by the ICSID team members:

Ekaterina Borisova was a discussant on this panel.

Besides, Denis Ivanov presented his research on «Do Institutions Cause Social Trust? Evidence from an Institutional Reform» at the session “Norms, Customs and Culture”.
