Analytics for Management and Economics Conference 2019

Andrei Yakovlev and Yulia Rodionova took part in the Analytics for Management and Economics Conference (AMEC 2019) that was held in St. Petersburg on September 27-28, 2019.


The conference, which has been held for the second year already, brought together researchers and practitioners from various fields of business, management, finance and public administration. In a separate session dedicated to research in the field of public procurement, A.A. Yakovlev presented a paper co-written by Yuliya Rodionova "What factors determine the success of manufacturing firms in public procurement in Russia?" The paper, which uses data from two large empirical surveys, analyzed the factors determining the participation and degree of involvement of manufacturing companies in public procurement in Russia in 2013 and 2017.

As part of the conference, Yulia Rodionova also presented her work on conflict resolution practices in public procurement at the PhD seminar for post-graduate students and young researchers. The seminar was organized by the HSE Institute for Institutional Research in cooperation with the St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management.
