The CSID associates at XIV HSE Conference

On April 2-,4 the nternational Centre for the Study of Institutions and Development associates participated in several sections of the April XIV International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, conducted by the National Research University "Higher School of Economics", with the participation of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund

As part of a special session on "Development of the system of public procurement in Russia" by the Institute for Industrial and Market studies there were two reports: "Comparative analysis of the effeciency of budgetary organizations goszakupochnoy similar action areas"(A.Tkachenko, O.Balaeva, O.Demidovа, A.Yakovlev) and "Analysis of the effectiveness of public procurement simple homogeneous goods (for example, sugar industry)" (A.Bashina, A.Yakovlev, O.Demidova).

International Centre for the Study of Institutions and Development held a section of "The Political Economy of Political Development: Russia in the 2000s," chaired by Thomas Remington. Within the section were made by the Institute of reports on "Cancelling the election of mayors in Russian cities" (G.Garifullina), "Factors of collective action: the case of mass protests in Russia 2011-2012" (A.Sobolev), «Reforming welfare regimes in Russia and China: the enduring impact of the Soviet social contract »(T.Remington)
