Michael Rochlitz joins the University of Bremen

ICSID associate fellow Michael Rochlitz has been recently appointed Professor of Economics with the specialization “institutional change” at the University of Bremen.

It is a newly introduced position at the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics that is also closely connected with a large scale research project Mod-Block-GDR (Obstacles to modernisation in the economy and society of the GDR). The project is headed by Prof. Dr. Jutta Günther and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

After receiving his PhD degree in economics in 2013, Michael spent a year at ICSID as a postdoctoral researcher, and then joined the School of Political Science at HSE as an assistant professor. In 2017 Michael moved to Ludwig Maximilians University Munich where he worked as a research fellow until recently.

Our warmest congratulations to Michael on his exciting new job!
