HSE International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID) and NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions held another session of their Research Seminar on Diversity and Development. The event was held jointly with the seminar “Political Economy”.
Andrei Yakovlev, Head of the Institute for Industrial and Market Studies, became a member of the Academic Advisory Board working on the Discuss Data project
The project is initiated as collaboration between the Research Centre for East European Studies of the University of Bremen (FSO), Göttingen State and University Library (SUB) and supported with the grant from the German Research Council (DFG).

Tim joined Errol Louis, the host of "Inside City Hall" - a nightly political show on NY1, to discuss a report from the Obama administration that accused Vladimir Putin of ordering a hidden campaign to influence America's presidential election in favor of Donald Trump. Tim also offered some insights into the current state of affairs in Russia and relationship between the USA and Russia nowadays.
On December 13, 2016 HSE International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID), NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions in cooperation with the seminar “Political Economy” held their regular joint Research Seminar on Diversity and Development.
On November 15, 2016 ICSID held another session of its regular research Seminar on Diversity and Development in cooperation with NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions and the seminar “Political Economy”.
On 3rd November International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development, Laboratory for Labor Market Studies and Centre for Labour Market Studies held the joint seminar, where the paper «Dynamics of Inequality and Convergence after Transition – Evidence from Russia» was presented.
On 28th October in the International Center for Study of Institutions and Development Ilja Viktorov, PhD, researcher, Department of Economic History, Stockholm University, presented his report entitled «The Swedish employers and the wage-earner funds debate during the crisis of Fordism in the 1970s and 1980s».
In the last number RUSSIAN ANALYTICAL DIGEST was published article «What Are the Russian Elites Going to Build?» (author A. Yakovlev). This paper reflects the results of a research project funded within the framework of the Basic Research Program at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE).
